Firefighters entered the home with hose lines to extinguish the flames while others began searching for people. No one was found, but two pets were found dead. The fire caused about $45,000 in damage.
Firefighters remained on the scene for four hours to control the fire and complete repairs. The Danville Fire Department and the Illinois State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the cause, which is unknown at this time.
