The animal shelter is offering half price on all pet adoptions during the holiday season.

(BCN) — The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is offering half off all adoption fees through January 3rd.

1001 Rodriguez St. The shelter located in is open daily from 11am to 6pm but will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.


A dog under six months of age will be $105 for adoption during the holiday. Adult dogs will have a fee of $75.

Kittens can be adopted for $60 and adult cats for $50. Rabbits can be adopted for a fee of $35.

The fee includes vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.

The shelter currently has hundreds of pets available.
