Dog Park Grant

The City of Milpitas has been awarded a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to complete the dog park at Delano Manongs Park. This matching grant of $301,516 will fund the construction of a new area for large dogs, including asphalt and decomposed granite, concrete paving, fencing, signs, site furnishings, landscaping and irrigation throughout the park, and Staff resources to manage the project. Work will not begin until other related projects are completed in the park.

The grant will allow city staff to use park fund money that would otherwise have been earmarked for this project for other park infrastructure needs in the Milpitas metro area.
