St. George — Get ready to lace up — and lash up — for the first time. I love pet fun run. Saturday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. at Tonaquint Park
This event welcomes all pets whether they bark, meow, slither or scuttle. Participants can choose from a variety of distances: 10km, 5K or a walk-n-roll fun run of about 1 mile.
“It’s not just a race. It’s a joyous journey filled with paw prints, laughter and a shared love of pets,” Aaron Mettler, manager of races and events entertainment for the city of St. George, said in a news release. “A tail-wagging good time awaits. Join us for an unforgettable morning full of fun experiences with our beloved pets.
All ages Invited to celebrate the connection between humans and animals. Don’t have a pet? No problem. Pet-less participants can dress up as any creature and join this one-of-a-kind adventure that features the new Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial, Tunaquint Nature Center.
Registered participants will receive a shirt. Their pets get servants. All finishers will take home a medal.
