Clyde is a 1-year-old neutered male bulldog mix who currently resides in a foster home where according to his foster family he is practically the perfect dog. Clyde’s distant past has been treated for starvation, indigestion and heartworms. Now that heartworm is negative and healthy. He likes to run and his family reports that he is very energetic. Clyde is a big loving dog who gets along with other dogs and cats. He has some markings on his skin and an underbite, all of which add to his unique kind of beauty. To make an appointment to meet Clyde, please contact HPR at 601-303-0672 or visit for more information.

Next, this sad little guy is Noah. He was brought in as a stray to the Natchez Adams Humane Society shelter. Noah is about 10 to 14 weeks old. He’s a quiet little boy, but he loves belly rubs. Noah doesn’t like sitting in his cage all day, and is patiently waiting for a new home.

This is the bright eyed little kitty Ivy. He was brought in as a stray. Ivy is about 10 to 12 weeks old and ages. This sweet girl is very talkative, sweet and ready for a happy family. Meet Noah and Ivy. The Natchez-Adams County Humane Society Shelter is located at 475 Liberty Road. Visits are offered Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 601-442-4001.

Meet Felix. This adorable, cuddly bug is one of the friendliest pups at the Concordia PAWS shelter. Yes, he’s still a puppy at 9-10 months old, and you won’t find a calmer soul than that. Felix has been fully vetted and is ready to go. Come and see if he will steal your heart as he staffs the PAWS shelter. Visiting hours at the Concordia PAWS Shelter, 1212 First St., Ferriday, Louisiana, are daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A fenced yard is required to keep it safe.
