Pet of the week: Vacation with LuLu.

LuLu catches a glimpse of something piqued her interest in the shelter. (Donna Rutke)

Cullman, Ala- LuLu, an approximately 2-year-old female pointer and American cat mix with an ivory spotted coat, is available for adoption at the Cullman County Animal Shelter.

LuLu has finally outgrown the puppy energy stage and is ready to chill. She enjoys the time she spends with the humans at the shelter and is curious about them, showing interest in all the daily happenings and happenings. She’ll definitely show her interest in whatever hobby you enjoy, and we can’t promise she won’t be anxious about where the Christmas presents are hidden!

She has a good understanding of leash manners and will enjoy a walk in the park! Its extremely short coat and low-to-medium energy level make perfect trappings for a sophisticated, furry friend, just in time to lounge around the fireplace for Christmas.

Are you ready to add storage to the mantel for LuLu? Visit the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.

Her adoption fee includes spay, DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine, wormer, general vet exam and microchip.
