Pet of the Week: Truckee-Tahoe – Pet of the Week: Bigsy

Meet Bugsy, an ordinary cat looking for his perfect new home. Just your typical teenager here; Loves food, especially treats (what teenager doesn’t love junk food?), lives for adventure, plays with huge bursts of energy, and loves his sleep! However, unlike a human teenager, this teenager will never show true rebelliousness, inexplicable bursts of anger or tears, and best of all, never talk back! He is the best housemate.

When Bugsy first came to the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe, he was pretty scared, but not anymore. Once he warms up, he just wants to be close to you and cuddle up in your lap. He has grown into an incredibly loving and curious little boy who loves playing time with his toys. This two-year-old boy weighs 12 pounds and has settled in really well at the shelter. However, he is ready to spend the rest of his life as a pampered pet in a new home.

Bugsy is this week’s Pet of the Week.

Every day Bugsy is at the shelter he is becoming more and more people-oriented, breaking out of his once, cute scaredy cat shell. Now that he’s settled in, he’s really ready to transition to a new forever home. She is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If you are interested in meeting or learning more about sweet, playful Bugsy, please contact HSTT’s adoption experts at 530-587-5948 or adoptions@hstt.org.
