Columbia, SC (Wolo): Meet Samantha! Samantha hopes to find her happily ever after before Valentine’s Day. Her love story with fellow shelter dog, Pappy, has already captivated all the staff and volunteers at Columbia Animal Services!
Sweet, submissive Samantha was surrendered to Poppy by her owner through no fault of her own. Together, they had four puppies that have all been adopted. Samantha has since been fired and her puppy days are over! Now he is looking for his ‘forever’ home.
Samantha is a medium sized dog with a beautiful brindle coat. She is shy and reserved at the shelter, but shelter staff say she has proven to be very loyal, loving and trusting of people despite her unique personality. Samantha is gentle on the leash, and even rides well in the car! Samantha would be great in a home with Papi or other dogs. She would probably do great at home with the kids too! Shelter staff always encourage meet and greets with your furry or human housemates to ensure a successful adoption.
All adoption fees for the month of February are only $14! These include spay/neuter surgery, microchips, vaccinations, and flea/heartworm prevention.
You can also attend the event—speed dating edition of the Shelter’s Pups & Pints adoption series—this Saturday, February 10th at the Bierkeller (600 Canalside Street Suite 1009) from noon to 3pm. Adoption fees will be waived! Prospective adopters are encouraged to bring a leash and collar for their new furry friend.
