Meet Luke and Waldorf, this week’s CVAS pets. These are just two of the amazing animals living in area animal sanctuaries.
Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter There are many adorable pets looking for forever homes. While Luke and Waldorf want to meet you, check out all the other adorable animals available for adoption. Go to it. Animal shelter Link to see all their residents.
CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoption at the shelter.
Pets find themselves homeless for a variety of reasons, needing a new home and a second chance. So if you’re looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Either of them would make an excellent pet and wonderful companion.
Adoption is now by appointment only, and has worked very well. Donors have also helped with supplies and money, which is vital for the shelter’s homeless animals.
Prospective adopters can call 717-263-5791 for more information.
Luke was surrendered to the shelter and is 9 years old and weighs 9 pounds. He is a Pomeranian and can be a little grumpy at times, so Luke would do best with someone who has little experience with dogs and an adult-only home.
According to his previous owner, Luke has occasional seizures, but has never received veterinary care. We haven’t seen any poaching activity here at the shelter, but that’s something to keep in mind for her potential adopters.
