These pets are ready to settle into their forever home — your place.

Bonded brother

Meet Kingston and Byron, two handsome brothers looking for their “forever” home. They look almost identical, but Kingston seems to have more prominent features, while Byron has softer features and a slightly wider nose.

A good Samaritan saved these brothers. Although quite shy they have made great progress. Once he gets to know you, one of them will come into bed with you for lots of petting. The second is usually just one beat behind. They are both very well behaved and calm so will need a quiet home without small children. These boys need a loving environment to grow at their own pace.

They are neutered, vaccinated, and wormed. Wouldn’t you consider taking these boys home and watching them develop? What a wonderful gift of love that would be!

Cogu, No. A511074, needs love and a daily run.

Kogo, number A511074, is a unique looking boy. But she’s more than just stunningly beautiful – she’s also a lot of fun! This happy boy loves to play, roam and explore the world.

He enjoys walking and hiking but also wants a chance to run! He loves playing with the stuffed toy and is always up for a game of get away.

Cogu would love a home with a good understanding of structure. He likes to know what the routine is, and he’s happy to follow it. He has already learned some training cues and will likely be a star pupil in the training class.

An active home would be perfect for this handsome man!

Cogu and all other dogs can be adopted at no cost during the Pasadena Humane’s “Roses and Wet Noses” promotion, which runs through Sunday, Dec. 31. The promotion, sponsored by the Pet Care Foundation, features some amazing big dogs in need. Adoptable Kogo would love to cuddle with you on the couch and watch the Rose Parade!

The fee for adopting dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.

View photos of adoptable pets and schedule an adoption appointment on the website. Adoptions are by appointment only, and new adoption appointments are available on Sundays and Wednesdays at 10am.

Pets may not be available for adoption and may not be placed through phone calls or emails to potential adopters. pasadenahumane.org

Alysana, No. A512011, Small in Size, Big in Love

This pint-sized pup is adorable Alisana, a 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix.

Alessana is incredibly loving. She loves to sit next to you to get pets and give you soft kisses. His tail wags non-stop, especially when he gets some scratches or pets.

She has lived with other dogs and will probably do best with dogs her own size or larger. She’s so playful, but she doesn’t know her size!

Alysana is working on her training cues and is very good at “sit”. Her fetch game needs a little work—she likes the idea of chasing the ball, but quickly returns to the person trying to play because it’s so easy to get a pet. And more fun!

They’re the perfect size to hike with you on a trip to the beach. It won’t take up much space in the car or on the couch when you get back home!
