Humane Society of Summit County reduced pet adoption fees.

TWINSBURG, Ohio (WJW) — Your family may want a new pet, and the Pet Humane Society of the Summit County Definitely want a new family.

Through the end of 2023, the Humane Society is gearing up potential dog/cat owners by cutting adoption fees by 50 percent for animals that have been in a shelter for more than 30 days.

Adopt a new pet and you’ll also receive a free goodie bag containing treats and flea/heartworm medication. Dogs also get free leashes.

“All of our residents want to be in a forever home for the New Year,” the humane society wrote in one Facebook post.
