HSBC is ready to find homes for pets at the Walk for the Animals event in Fort Lauderdale

Broward County, Fla. – The Humane Society of Broward County continued its search to find loving, permanent homes for pets Saturday at Local 10 News.

HSBC Vice President of Marketing Cheri Wachter introduced the 4-month-old star to the local 10 audience.

Starr is about 20 pounds and will need some training, Wachter said.

Star came from a sister shelter and has only been with the shelter for 48 hours.

Wachter suggested that Starr would need a large space or yard to run.

If you want to take Star home, you should sign up for HSBC’s pet obedience classes to help train your new furry friend, Wachter said.

Wachter also introduced Bowie and Sabbath, a pair of kittens, to Local 10 News viewers.

She said they are both a fun couple and could easily split up or go home with each other.

Wachter also said they have a lot of older breeds and older pets looking for their ‘forever’ home.

Wachter also spoke about HSBC’s annual “Walk for Animals” event where donations will go towards the welfare of animals looking for homes and any surgery they may need.
