Houston Animal Rescue is looking for foster, forever homes for over 185 animals.

Houston – One of Houston’s largest animal rescues is urgently looking for adopters or forever homes for more than 185 of its animals.

Special Pals are currently over capacity. Rescue said there is an urgent need for fosters from December 23 to December 27.

The rescue currently has 99 puppies (under 5 months old), 35 puppies, 35 kittens and 16 cats in their care. All equipment required for the care of the animals is provided to the keepers.

Rescue said they are also overwhelmed by the need at this time. Donations of any kind are welcome, including food, blankets, toys or financial support.

“We’ve been operating at capacity for over a year now and during the colder months and holiday season we see more owner surrenders and homeless pets come into our care.
