Art

gender boy

Age: 4 years

Weight: 82 pounds

Breed: Dog

Breed: Rottweiler

Orphan since October 5th

Adoption Fee: $150

Finn came from animal control as a stray and unfortunately, his owners were never found. He is a big boy with lots of energy. His breed is prone to over-hunting unless trained well. He never received this training, but he is still young, and with patience can be taught. He encourages food and toys and protects his toys while playing. He should go to a home that is willing to teach him some simple commands like sit and lie down. He needs a family that loves long walks, throwing balls and playing. Family with past Rottweiler experience is a plus. We don’t know if he likes cats, so if you have one, please keep that in mind. He came with a mass on his neck, but the medical team here removed it, and all is well. If you’ve ever wanted a playful, goofy and loyal bodyguard, Finn might be the guy for you. Rex

gender boy

Age: 2 years

Weight: 56 pounds

Breed: Dog

Breed: Terrier, American Pitbull Fawn/White

Orphan since May 16

Adoption Fee: $150

Rex has been at SPCA Florida since May. He has a history of allergies and needs medication to protect him from fleas, ticks and heartworms. He’s a quiet guy and doesn’t bark much, so you can do all the talking. If you have another dog or dogs in your home, Rex should meet them first to see if they get along. He is a full grown boy who is hoping you will visit his kennel soon to talk and play. He is at SPCA Florida in kennel 43A. For more information visit: www.spcaflorida.org.

Julie

Gender: Female

Age: 1 year

Weight: 7 pounds

Species: Cat

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Lynx/White

Orphan Since: September 1st

Adoption Fee: $75

Julie is a cute little lynx with a white, gray coat and beautiful blue eyes. She was brought to us because she was one of many cats in the house and was too much to handle. Fear not Julie, you won’t be here long with these looks. Julie loves to be cuddled, play with stick toys and lie on your lap. She is comfortable with other cats and loves her chicken. She still has a bit of growing to do and would make a great addition to any family. Come visit Julie at Linda’s Lovelies Cattery at SPCA Florida. Samba

gender boy

Age: 10 years

Weight: 11 pounds

Species: Cat

Breed: Domestic Shorthair Black

Orphan since October 16

Adoption Fee: $50

Samba is here waiting for his next forever home. Unfortunately, his owner could no longer care for him and so he was surrendered to SPCA Florida. He lives in our administration office and is the cutest cat ever. He is very affectionate and just loves to be with his humans. Samba’s black coat is smooth and shiny. Samba came to us, but that doesn’t stop him from being a normal cat. He is on a special urine diet that he must continue to eat for the rest of his life. If you need a companion who just wants to be with you, meet Samba. For more information, please visit www.spcaflorida.org.
