Importance of Rabies Vaccination

North Carolina law requires that every cat and dog over four months of age be vaccinated against rabies. Failure to comply with this law may result in a civil penalty of $200.00. Rabies is a serious and potentially fatal disease, both for pets and humans. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent its spread and protect your family and community.

A convenient drive-thru clinic

To make the vaccination process even easier, the Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital is offering a drive-through clinic format. Simply drive up on the scheduled dates during the designated hours, and our experienced staff will vaccinate your pet while you stay in the comfort of your car.

Protect your pets and your community.

By participating in these rabies clinics, you not only protect your pet’s health, but also contribute to the well-being of the entire community. Stopping the spread of rabies is a collective effort, and your participation is vital.

Mark your calendar.

Don’t miss the chance to protect your pet from rabies and ensure a long and healthy life. Mark our upcoming rabies clinic dates on your calendar, and spread the word to fellow pet owners in the area.
