Alexandria, VA-Dash is a 5-year-old male dog with the cleanest, most beautiful brindle coat and prominent pointed ears. Dash is a very social, friendly man who lives in his backyard with small children. Her previous owner says she has great house manners and is crate trained. Dash has gone through puppy phases, but still has the right amount of energy and is always up for a game of tug-of-war or a walk around the neighborhood. Dash does very well with its “check-in” behavior on walks, making sure to see its handler when requested. He also has great leash manners and is easy and pleasant to walk. Dash knows “sit” and “paja”. AWLA volunteers report that Dash is very smart and a fast learner.

AWLA is located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave. Founded in 1946, AWLA has helped homeless animals and served as a resource. The organization remains an integral part of the community by providing adoption, spay and neuter assistance, education, and outreach opportunities. To learn more, visit alexandriaanimals.org.
